QLink Windsor-Essex and the Windsor Public Library invites you to join us for our biweekly online program, QConnect’s Book & Media Club, on Saturdays from 12:00pm - 2:00pm. This peer facilitated online program is for individuals 12-29 years of age and offers a positive space for LGBTQ2S+ youth and their allies to take time out of their day to connect through a discussion about a book or media item. Something new is featured each month!
Youth are encouraged to share recommendations! QConnect’s Book & Media Club offers a space to hang out, meet new people and make connections while fostering inclusion, community belonging, positive relationships and respect for all LGTBQ2S+ people.
- April 2nd, April 16th, and April 30th features the comic book series Lumberjanes Vol. 1, 2, and 3
- May 14th and May 28th features the graphic novel Generations by Flavia Biondi
This event is presented by QLink Windsor-Essex, a collaborative partnership between Windsor Pride Community, Windsor-Essex Pride Fest, Family Services Windsor-Essex and funded by the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
